FUSEINI WUMBEI
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Mr. Wumbei is a Business Executive and entrepreneur who started business by setting up a sole proprietorship called Mumbs Lumber Supplies and Co. Agencies in 1992 to supply lumber and building materials to clients such as Taysec, PWD and other local road and building contractors.
During this period, Mr. Wumbei developed a great deal of interest in the construction industry and learnt more about it and finally became the founder of Mawums Limited in 2005 and Bildex Company Limited in 2016. He has over 25 years managerial experience and has successfully led Bildex to its current position as one of the best local contractors and real estate company in Ghana.
Mrs. NAA A. ASIEDU
DIRECTOR, HUMAN RESOURCES & ADMINISTRATOR
Mrs Naa Ameley Asiedu joined Mawums Limited in October 2020 as a Head of HR/Admin. She started her working career as a Client Relations Officer/Translator with the Bureau National d’etude Techniques at de Developpements (BNETD) in Abidjan, Cote d’ivoire. Whiles in BNETD she contributed greatly to the translation of the official website from French to English. She returned back home to Ghana and joined Blue Skies Product Ghana Limited as an Operations Officer.
She later served in Blue skies for ten (10) years in various areas including Logistics, Project Management and Human Resource Management. Having acquired a practical and innovative approach to Human Resource Management in Blue skies during her last few years there, she decided to focus on HR management and grow her career in that area. She left Blueskies and joined Basic Security Limited as a Human Resource Manager. There at Basic Security she worked hard to ensure an effective implementation of the company’s code of conduct as well as all policy documents which were drafted by her. She also implemented several strategies to keep staff highly motivated and engaged. Years after, she joined Hydronomics Limited as Head of HR. In Hydronomics, she set up the HR department and put together several HR policies which has contributed immensely to the current good fortunes of the Company. She is a certified SPHRi professional.
She also holds an MBA in Project Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), a BSc in management from the Central University College and a French proficiency Certificate from the Ghana Institute of Languages (GIL).
Mr. FRANK ANTWI
COMPLIANCE MANAGER
Mr. Frank Antwi join the company as the Compliance Manager in January 2021. He has over 10 years Managerial experience in the field of Accounting and Finance, Auditing, Operations and Management.
Before joining Mawums Limited in 2021, Mr. Antwi worked at Hippo Group of Companies for Nine (9) year at various levels of Management. Mr. Antwi was employed as the as Accounts Officer at Hippo Limited and was transferred to Hippo Transport Limited as the Accountant when it was established, he was promoted to the position of Transport Manager and as the International Head of Operation at the time of his Exit. Whiles in Hippo Transport Limited Mr. Antwi contributed immensely to the expansion drive of the company outside the frontiers of Ghana into the West African sub-region in establishing Hippo Transport Limited, Cote D’Ivoire and Hippo Transport Limited, Niger. At Hippo Transport Limited, He led the company to these Francophone countries and developed the policies at procedure that governed all the Three (3) subsidiaries.
Mr. Frank Antwi also worked at Beverages Investment Limited (holders of the Pepsi Cola franchise in Ghana) as Internal Audit officer.
He is a Chartered Accountant (ACCA) and a Certified Accounting Technician of ACCA- (CAT UK). He also holds a Degree in BSC Accounting with computing from Kumasi Technical University, and a Diploma in Business Studies, Accounting option.
Mr. ACHAGANI THOMAS KUMURIWO
FINANCE MANAGER
Achagani, Thomas Kumuriwo is a Finance and Accounting professional with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Accounting option from the University of Ghana business school and also a member of the Institute of Chartered accountants (Ghana).
He has experience in auditing, tax management, finance and accounting, internal controls and systems and Corporate Governance and Ethics. He was a beneficiary of training by the National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA) of accounting for pensions fund under ACT 766 and its amendments ACT 883.
He also provides sound and insightful financial advice to management based on reviews of accounts and other financial information and this he skillfully presents to Management, Board of Directors for decision making.
Mr Achagani has excellent negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working value-based relationships.
Mr. SAMUEL BAMFO
PROCUREMENT MANAGER
Mr. Samuel Bamfo, a hard-working supply chain professional with experience in running the efficient operation of company warehouses, procurement and logistics department. With over 14 years experience in the mining, civil engineering, building engineering, oil and gas industry and has successfully delivered on major projects with company such as Mantrac Ghana in the Goldfield Marc contract, expro Gulf ltd in the Tullow jubilee field and across the francophone African country, with company such Expro Guld Ltd and Geodrill Ltd in project like Total exploration project at Rabi Gabon, Anadarko exploration project Abidjan Ivory coast and samafol mining Burkina faso.
With negotiation and cost saving skill, he was awarded with Expro Excellence award for cost saving. Mr. Samuel Bamfo holds a BSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management option from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, HND in purchasing and supply from Takoradi Polytechnic and other safety and dangerous goods declaration related courses.
MISBAWU MOHAMMED
QUANTITY SURVEYOR
He holds Bsc Building Technology from KNUST. He is a member of Ghana Institute of Surveyors (GhIS), and works as Quantity Surveyor Assistant at the Development Office, KNUST since 2001. He joined Bildex Limited in 2018 as Quantity Surveyor.
BENJAMIN ARKO
LAND SURVEYOR
He holds Bsc Building Technology from KNUST. He is a member of Ghana Institute of Surveyors (GhIS), and works as Quantity Surveyor Assistant at the Development Office, KNUST since 2001. He joined Bildex Limited in 2018 as Quantity Surveyor.
